Welcome to Reception from Mrs Simms
After a fabulous term exploring under the sea and being pirates we are now entering our final term of the school year. This term we will be venturing our into the food for some fairy tale adventures and going on a trip to Whisby Education Centre to explore folklore stories, den building and making wild art. We will also be creating films of our favourite fairy tales.
Our little learners are developing great maths skills and this term will continue 5 a Day sessions to practise their skills an will be continuing on their great journey on the Read Write Inc programme too!
Finally we will be celebrating this years achievements and preparing for the transition of our current Reception class moving to Year 1 and welcoming our newest members to The Holt for some special visits before they join Reception class in September!
