Harvest 2021

Today is our Harvest celebration day. We started the day with the whole school singing 'Let's Harvest' outside on the playground altogether. It was amazing to hear the whole school as one. the video is shared below for you all to see.

Despite the rain, we still had a visit from the tractor and the children enjoyed asking questions, sitting on the wheels and were amazed at just how big it was. Each class has also recorded a poem, a rap or a song and the children are going to enjoy watching their friends virtually. We hope you enjoy these too. The rest of the day  is being spent on Harvest activities.

By thinking about our food, where it comes from and being grateful for the food we eat, we were also able to consider those not as fortunate as ourselves. The donations for the Lincolnshire Community Larder have been plentiful and we will be delighted to hand them over to the charity later in the week. Thank you to our amazing school community for your generosity and kindness.

Finally, our Pupil Council have recorded a prayer for the earth by Pope Francis. a day like today is always a good opportunity to reflect and offer our thanks for our world.
