In Year 3 vocabulary is at the heart of everything we do. We will learn a wide range of new vocabulary whilst beginning to understand the meaning of words, how words are made up, spelt and where they come from. The children will become excited about words whatever subject we are covering and I will be introducing them to a site called Word Hippo. This is somewhere they can go to find out about new words they come across at home too. Have a look for yourself and get studying those new words!
