Welcome to Reception from Mrs Simms
We are starting a new year and a new term with a topic exploring toys from the past and present. We will be making comparisons, looking at the materials that toys are made from and how these have changed over time. We will be writing about toys as well as making our own robots with items we have recycled.
As the weather has turned colder we will also be learning about the changing seasons and looking after the birds this winter by making bird feeders.
Our little learners are developing great maths skills and this term will begin 5 a Day sessions to practise their skills an will be continuing on their great journey on the Read Write Inc programme too!
