Coolmilk

Children under the age of 5 are entitled to free milk each day and after this they can order and pay for this. This is given out just before morning playtime. The school uses Coolmilk as their provider and in this pack is a letter and registration form that needs to be completed by parents.

School dinners

All children in Reception, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to a school meal that is free. These are called Universal Infant Free School Meals. All meals are ordered online and must be placed by Thursday at noon for the following week or even the term ahead It is useful for parents to keep a record at home of what days they have requested a meal for. On other days, a packed lunch and separate drinks should be sent into school. If your child does not like a hot school dinner, we will send a note home so you are aware they may not have eaten much that day. Please log in and create an account at:  http://kidzkitchen.co.uk/

Fruit scheme

All children in Reception, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to free fruit and vegetables which are given out at morning play time. The children do not have to eat this but we encourage the children to try new things – tomatoes, apples, carrots, oranges etc.

Snack time

The children are allowed to bring a snack from home for morning playtime. This can be fruit, cereal bars and other healthy options. Crisps, sweets and chocolate are not allowed. It is helpful if this is named.
