At The Holt Primary School, our curriculum enables children to have opportunities to share and celebrate different faiths and cultures. Collective worship and discussions involving prejudices and supported by learning in RE and PSHE. Members of different faiths, religions and cultures are invited to share their knowledge to enhance learning within classes and the school.
What do we do?
•Organise visits to places of worship
• Encourage the understanding of festivals and beliefs through collective worship and the RE curriculum
•Discuss differences between people, such as differences of faith, ethnicity, disability and gender and differences of family situations, such as looked-after children or young carers.
