1st Feb Mental Health Week

Captain Sir Tom Moore...we remember you!

In a week where we are all being encouraged to express ourselves and talk about our feelings, I could not let today go by without paying tribute to Sir Captain Tom. In a year where we have faced tremendous difficulties and risen to many challenges, Tom was a ray of sunshine during dark times. He made us all realise that we can do anything we want to if we put our minds to it, whatever the obstacles in our way. His message of hope and positivity kept us going and the tireless work he did for the NHS was truly incredible. Although it is very sad to think that he has passed away, we must all focus on his inspirational words "Tomorrow will be a good day!" Let's all hold on to those words and celebrate his wonderful life and work for our country. Songs are so good at helping us express our feelings and thoughts so sing a long and remember an amazing man who put others before himself.

This week's feel good song!

This is a brilliant song that we sing in assembly. Sing along and enjoy the positive message it gives! Remember singing helps us de-stress and feel good about ourselves. It has the power to give us all kinds of emotions but I'm really hoping that this song will remind you of all the wonderful times we share as a school, singing along together. We will experience that again and when we do it will ne very special so let's keep up those singing skills!
