Just after the start of lunch the Lincoln and Notts Air Ambulance landed on our field today to attend to a patient in the village. We are glad to report that they visited the poorly person at their home but didn't have to air lift them. This was their fourth call out today during their 12 hour shift which began at 7.00am.
The crew were amazing and allowed the children to go and look at the Ambulance and we asked lots of questions. They even let us sit at the edge of the field whilst it took off.
What an amazing job the Air Ambulance does and we are delighted that we can support them by doing our cram-a-bag days.
This was a big suprise and one I think the children will be talking about for a long time.
